The circulation of coaches in Milan
The circulation in Milan is regulated by specific rules that provide for restrictions about access and circulation of coaches within the LTZ (Limited Traffic Zone), which vary according to the access zones, times and days of the week and the polluting category of the vehicle.
Instead, urban pedestrian areas are completely closed to vehicular traffic, with the exception of emergency and law enforcement vehicles, with exemptions for vehicles carrying people with reduced mobility.

Area C Rules
Area C is an area of the historic center of Milan with access restrictions for some types of vehicles and coincides with the Cerchia dei Bastioni LTZ, delimited by 43 gates with cameras.

Area C is active on weekdays from Monday to Friday from 7:30AM to 7:30PM, while it is not active on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Tourist buses and minibuses with more than 9 seats and with pollution category not less than Euro 5 can access Area C upon payment of a daily amount that changes according to the size of the vehicle:
